Drama room Expectations
Drama is a great way to start off the year at King School. I am lucky to teach Dance, Drama, and Music at King. Here are some tips to having a great year in Dance.
- Be Respectful: Watch performers quietly. Say only kind things. Listen to the speaker without interrupting.
- Be Responsible: Come into the room quietly. Sit on your tape spots without spinning. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
- Be ready: Try everything! Listen to directions the first time and have fun!

science of sound
First Graders learn about how sound travels through variety of instruments. Ask you student how to make a low sound? High sound? Loud sound? Soft sound? Ask your student what is sound?
king school music
All students will be learning game songs that are appropriate for their grade level. A lot of songs are group games, but some songs involve students taking turns. The song determines who has the next turn. This teaches patience, listening, giving focus, body control, and compassion for others. Ask your students which songs we sang this week!
